Verse of the Day (September 15, 2020) #BMSeminary – {God is love} Love is not God’s only attribute. He is spirit (John 4:24), light (1 John 1:5), faithful and just (1:9), and good (Luke 18:19). Love existed between the Father and the Son before the creation of the world (John 17:24). {Whoever lives in love lives in God} This is intended to bolster the confidence of the readers. Unlike the secessionists, they do love one another. This is evidence that God lives in them and they in God. [Zondervan Study Bible]
